MITT present at the Northern and Central stage of the Chef of the Year competition

MITT Food Innovation was present in the North and Center stages of the contest Chefe Cozinheiro do Ano, which took place at the Porto Hotel and Tourism School and had the following competitors:

António Sousa – Hotel Casa Da Calçada Relais Châteaux
Elísio Bernardes – Natural Group
Ilídio Simões – Curia Palace Hotel
Marco Valente – Hotel Crowne Plaza Porto
Flávio Silva – Villa Pampilhosa Hotel
António Queiróz Pinto – Restaurante de Tormes

The jury chaired by chef António Bóia (restaurant JNcQuoi) was attended by chefs António Loureiro (restaurant A Cozinha), Orlando Esteves and Rui Martins.

The 3rd and final regional stage of the contest will take place on the 7th of May, at the Hotel and Tourism School of Lisbon. The final will take place on 20 November at Alfândega do Porto.

The Chef Cook of the Year contest, the largest national cooking contest for professionals, distinguishes and values the talent of kitchen professionals. MITT Food Innovation joins this initiative, which aims to give a new boost to the appreciation of the cooking profession and contribute to the dignity of Portuguese cuisine.
