General conditions of Sale
1. Ownership of the MITT online store (www.mitt.pt)
Litoral Coelho - Abate e Comercialização de Coelho, SA. with registered office at Av. 7 de Outubro, nº 3, 3060-627 Cochadas - Tocha), Portugal, with a share capital of € 450,000, NIPC nº PT 506 844 293, registered at the Commercial Registry Office of Cantanhede under the same number, is the legitimate owner of the official website of the MITT brand - Food Innovation and whose domain can be found at http://www.mitt.pt
The present General Conditions are presented in order to define the sales modalities between MITT.PT and its customers defined below. You become a customer under these general conditions, any individual or moral person you order on the website www.mitt.pt, whether you are a private customer or not.
1.2. Application field
These General Sales Conditions govern the sale of products on the website www.mitt.pt on the day the order is validated. They are applied, whether the order was placed via Internet, email, phone or mail.
1.3. Customer Acceptance
The fact for the customer to validate his order request automatically causes the express acceptance of these General Sales Conditions. These Conditions apply to the exclusion of all other conditions, unless an agreement is signed by both parties. The purchase by email, telephone, fax or postal mail also implies acceptance of the gifts. They can be read directly on our website. They can also be sent by email or mail at the customer's request.
1.4. Modification of the General Conditions of Sale
MITT.PT reserves the right to change the conditions of use or other regulations published on our website without prior notice. Therefore, you should regularly consult the conditions of use since the continued use of the website presupposes the unreserved acceptance of the changes made to them and the submission to the latest version. The version of this regulation does not have a precise date, orders are thus managed by the General Conditions in use and therefore in force on the date of order.

1.6.1. The selling prices indicated on the website are in Euros, with taxes and fees included in the selling prices to the public.
1.6.2. All prices indicated are correct except for data insertion error. If an order is placed on an item whose price is incorrect we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund the amount paid to the customer immediately.
2. Value Added Tax (VAT)
All prices include VAT at the rate of 6%.
3.1. Order preparation
When the customer places his order through the website, he must fill in the presented form. Before validating the order, you must reread the form to confirm the data. MITT.PT is not responsible for errors in sending e-mails, nor for errors in sending orders due to poorly filled forms.
3.2. Order confirmation
The order confirmation is sent to the customer by automatic e-mail, provided that the e-mail address indicated does not present any error.
3.3. Order Cancellation
Online sales are governed by the Distance Selling Regulation. However, as we sell perishable products, regulations regarding the return of unwanted products do not apply directly to us. For more information, please consult Decree-Law no. 82/2008, of 20 May (art. 3, point 2, item “a”).
3.4. Our refund policy:
Once we sell perishable products, we ask that you - the customer - inspect the product after opening the box. Refunds are made against products that were damaged in transit or for missing goods and not for reasons of taste or a change in preference. If you are dissatisfied with any of the items in your order or any part of the delivery service, please contact us at 231 440 380 - or send us your message using the contact form available on our website. If you placed your order by phone, please indicate that you saw the product (s) in our online store. If you are given a wrong item, please notify us as soon as possible. If you want to replace the wrong item with the item you ordered, we will deliver the correct product to you as soon as possible. It is obvious that we will not charge you for an incorrect item. At Litoral Coelho SA we operate under an open and honest policy. We will always try to do our best to accommodate and act on any problems or suggestions.
3.5. Order cancellation
Any customer can cancel his order at any time, unless it has been invoiced.
3.6. Product availability

4.1. Form of payment
The customer will be able to pay by bank transfer and Paypal.
4.2. Property reservation
MITT.PT owns the products until their full payment by the customer.
The purchase order made online by the customer does not serve as an invoice. Whatever the type of order, the customer will receive the invoice with the goods at the time of delivery.
6.1. Order preparation deadlines
Internet orders are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. The time taken to process an order varies depending on the availability of each product, not exceeding 24H.
6.2. Transit times for goods
The transit times for the goods are indicated by the carrier (24H to 48H). These can be transmitted to the customer as an indication, on business days, and also depend on the accuracy of the address provided by the customer on the date of the order as well as its availability for receiving the order. The carrier's failure to comply with these deadlines must under no circumstances compromise MITT.PT's liability. These deadlines are indicated to the customer when shipping the goods.
The products to be shipped are packaged and packaged in an ATM (modified atmosphere) so that they arrive at the place of delivery in perfect condition, always taking into account customer satisfaction.
If the customer placed his order on the website, an automatic order confirmation email will be sent. If the email indicated by the customer is wrong, the order will be processed after confirmation of your payment.
8.1. Delivery place
The delivery of the order is made by the carrier at a positive temperature on the next business day after receiving the order confirmation email from Monday to Friday. In the event of a holiday or weekend the order will be delivered on the first following business day (48H to 72H).
8.2. Orders are delivered to the delivery address indicated by the customer on the order form.
8.3. Deliveries are made at street level.
8.4. Your phone number is sent in the documentation so that the courier can contact you in case of doubt at the delivery address (or if you do not answer the door).
9. Absence on the day of delivery
9.1. At the delivery address, someone must always be present between 9 am and 8 pm the next day to receive the order shipment confirmation email;
9.1.2.If no one is there to receive and it is not possible, by telephone, to expedite the delivery in some way with the courier.
10. Delivery times
10.1. The estimated delivery time varies between 24H and 48H, for more information you should contact our services.
10.1.2. Loss of orders
In this case, MITT.PT is obliged to respect the deadlines imposed by the carrier regarding the declaration of loss and the refund of the shipment. Thus, the customer must also wait for these deadlines:

In this case, it is possible for MITT.PT to ask the client for documents necessary to open the complaint process. The latter must provide the requested data as quickly as possible.
10.1.5. Finally, the definitive answers regarding inquiries are given by the carrier within a period ranging from 24H to 1 week
11. Order receipt
We recommend that all orders delivered must be subject to verification and control, and that the customer makes any notes on the condition of the product on the carrier's delivery note in case of partial or total deterioration and refuses to receive it. Without the proper notes from the customer, the order cannot be the subject of a subsequent dispute with MITT.PT. The verification of the status of the product is considered to have been carried out once the shipping guide is signed. If the product is damaged, we appreciate that you photograph it and send us the photograph to the email email@example.com within a maximum period of 24 hours in order to activate the transport insurance.
12. Strikes or force majeure events
In the event of a carrier strike or other exceptional event that delays or prevents delivery of the order, MITT.PT will inform the customer of the delivery status.
13. Any packaging received at our premises without identification of the sender or sent for collection, will not be accepted.
14. Information on the website
Although MITT.PT works with the website with the utmost care, the information (texts, images, videos) may contain errors or be incomplete. MITT.PT cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by viruses or for any inaccuracy or imperfection of the information.
15. Shipping costs by withdrawal
In the event of a customer's withdrawal or error, the shipping and return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
16. Consumer Goods Guarantee
Products purchased at the MITT.PT online store are valid for 12 working days, unless otherwise specified. The guarantee for products sold by MITT.PT is stipulated solely and exclusively by the manufacturer Litoral Coelho, S.A.
